CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Airmen of the 153rd Airlift Wing were recognized for their scholastic and leadership achievements during a ceremony for Community College of the Air Force graduates, non-commissioned officer and senior non-commissioned officer inductees here on Saturday.

Staff Sgt. Gilbert Diaz, Master Sgt. Christopher Gibbs, Staff Sgt. Nichole Cook, Master Sgt. James Kassahn, Staff Sgt. Matt Lamberson, Tech. Sgt. Logan Landgraf, Master Sgt. Michael Mazurik, Master Sgt. Erik Pingel, Senior Master Sgt. Larry Quinn, Staff Sgt. Volha Taschenko and Senior Master Sgt. Marshall Davis were conferred with Associate of Science degrees.

Staff Sgts. Cody Broekhuizen, Sherry Eckhart, Joshua Kretz, Justin Morris and Shaundra Smith were inducted as NCOs.

Master Sgts. Kenneth Bohr, Christopher Gibbs, Heather Smith, Jason Stroup and Nicholas LaFollette were inducted as senior NCOs.

"As I looked at the excited faces of the graduates and newly inducted NCOs and senior NCOs, I was impressed by their commitment to their education and leadership development," said Lt. Col. Jeremy Sparks, 153rd Airlift Wing Inspector General. "I am encouraged that their fresh perspective and innovation with solving complex issues will lead the Air Force into a bright future.”
