tabCommander's Corner
Col. Bradley A. SwansonTeam,
It has been another extremely busy year for the men and women of the 153rd Airlift Wing.  As we approach the end of the year, it is time for us to reflect on the many accomplishments and successes we have had in 2014 and look forward to an even better 2015.  Chief Abbott and I are extremely proud to represent you and we admire your dedication and selfless service to our Nation and the state of Wyoming.  Your efforts over the past year have directly contributed to the safety and security of our nation's citizens and improved the lives of the citizens of our great state.

Please take time during the holiday season to relax and enjoy the company of your family, friends and loved ones.   If you are traveling, be safe!  If you are not traveling, be safe!  In either case, please keep the members of our unit deployed to Southwest Asia in your thoughts over the holidays.  In addition, I would ask that we also keep the family members of our deployed airmen in our thoughts.  It is never easy having a loved one deployed but it is even tougher over the holidays.  They deserve special thanks!

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for the New Year!

Command Chief Master Sgt. Michael D. AbbottMission success!  What does that mean and how does that apply to each of us in our roles here at the wing?

We just completed our CAPSTONE event and now we are progressing with changes to each of our sections to add to our mission success.  We each have our own personal goals and ambitions, but how do we manage those goals by also meeting mission needs?

Let us keep our minds on the leadership goals of making our wing better, making ourselves better, caring for each other, and maintaining standards.  I ask for your help, suggestions, support, ideas, and leadership as we go forward as a wing.  I am humbled to be your command chief and it is an honor to serve with each one of you.
