Lieutenant Colonel Christopher T. "Todd" Davis is the Commander, 153rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard, Cheyenne, Wyo. He is responsible for planning, scheduling, maintenance, repair, modification, overhaul of eight assigned C-130H aircraft and execution of Air National Guard flying hour program, annual budget, environmental compliance and unit self-inspection programs. In addition, he maintains readiness as a C-130H Evaluator Pilot, Functional Check Flight Pilot, and Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System (MAFFS) Instructor Pilot. 

Colonel Davis began his military career in 1990 as an enlisted aviator on the C-130B as a member of the North Carolina Air National Guard. After being selected as a pilot for the 124th Wing, Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho, he attended the Academy of Military Science; Knoxville, Tenn., where he received his commission in February 1999. He earned his pilot wings in July 2000. While awaiting C-130 Initial Qualification, he augmented the instructor corps at the commissioning school for Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve where he instructed more than six hundred students on various subjects including effective leadership styles and officer traits in addition to numerous academic classes. 

In January 2006, he transferred to National Guard Bureau and maintained his qualification as a mission ready Instructor Pilot in Boise. Colonel Davis provided Aircrew Training and Standardization and Evaluation oversight for all C-130, Rescue and Operational Support Aircraft in the Air National Guard ensuring units maintained a high state of mission readiness for immediate and effective employment in exercises, peace-keeping operations, contingencies and war operations. While assigned to NGB/A3, he excelled as the author of numerous training syllabi for specialized mission qualifications and was in direct coordination with multiple Major Commands on a daily basis to include Air Force Reserve Command, Air Mobility Command, Air Education & Training Command, and Pacific Air Forces. He provided Major Command oversight and coordination for developmental and operational testing of the new MAFFS II and was also responsible for governing directives and regulations for training and employment of MAFFS.

Prior to joining the 153rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, he was the Wing Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System Program Manager & Chief of Wing Current Operations responsible for leading Total Force Initiative operations.
