Wyoming Guard recognizes outstanding members Published Jan. 9, 2013 Wyo. Military Department CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Members of the Wyoming National Guard were recognized for their outstanding service during 2012, at a formal banquet Saturday night. "It's always an honor to recognize the outstanding achievements of our Wyoming Airmen and Soldiers," said Maj. Gen. Luke Reiner, Wyoming's Adjutant General. "These selfless men and women uphold the core values of the Wyoming Air and Army National Guard, always maintaining the ideals of people first and mission always." The following individuals were recognized for their leadership, military bearing, knowledge of military customs, community service and personal achievements. Spc. Holly Reiner, 115th Fires Brigade, Soldier of the Year. Sgt. Anthony Lopez, 133rd Engineer Company, Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. Staff Sgt. Timothy Cuttrell, 30th Airlift Squadron, Airman of the Year. Staff Sgt. Jereamy Day, 30th Airlift Squadron, Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. Master Sgt. James Lambert, 153rd Security Forces Squadron, First Sergeant of the Year. Master Sgt. William Cupp, 30th Airlift Squadron, Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. Capt. Jason Kinder, 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron, Company Grade Officer of the Year. Staff Sgt. Andrew Ballenger, 153rd Security Forces Squadron, was chosen as the Flag Team Member of the Year. This award is a symbol of the extreme amount of volunteerism and undying commitment a Flag Team member must possess. Tech. Sgt. Gregory Wardle, 153rd Security Forces Squadron; Airman 1st Class Montasha Labelle, 153rd Force Support Squadron; Tech. Sgt. Shawnda Nelson, 187th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron; Senior Airman Clayton Schluter, 243rd Air Traffic Control Squadron; Staff Sgt. Galen Evans, 153rd Maintenance Group; Staff Sgt. Mark Bennett, 153rd Maintenance Squadron; Senior Airman Alexandra Poynter, 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron; Tech. Sgt. Sierra Cunningham, 153rd Medical Group; Tech. Sgt. Chandra Gillott, Wyoming Joint Force Headquarters; and Staff Sgt. David Sutter, 153rd Logistics Readiness Squadron were named as the Chiefs Council Core Value Award recipients. This award recognizes the junior enlisted members of the Wyoming Air National Guard who best represent the Air Force/Air National Guard Core Values. Tech. Sgt. Charrolet Henry was recognized as the Unit Career Advisor of the Year. The Unit Career Advisor plays a key role in promoting the careers and opportunities of our military force, from the youngest Airman to the most seasoned senior noncommissioned officer. Tech. Sgt. Chandra Gillott was named as the Production Recruiter of the Year for the Wyoming Air National Guard. Tech. Sgt. Iris Honrado was selected as the Rookie Recruiter of the Year. These awards recognize the recruiters who continue to go above and beyond and whose individual efforts and support have been a contributing factor in this organization's ability to meet its missions. The Rising Six Council also recognized Staff Sgt. Jeremiah Knutson, 153rd Command and Control Squadron, as Outstanding Performer of the Year.
