Laura Hensala selected as the 2012 ANG Family Program Volunteer

CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Laura Hensala, the wife of Master Sgt. Michael Hensala, 187th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, was selected as the National Guard Bureau Family Programs 2012 Region 8 Volunteer of the Year.

She will be recognized during the Wyoming Air National Guard's Wing formation on July 14.

Hensala has been volunteering with the Airman and Family Readiness Program for three years.

According to Denise Rampolla, 153rd Airlift Wing Airman and Family Readiness Program manager, Hensala has made significant contributions to the success of her unit but has also been a great team member doing much to support the Airmen and families of our wing.

"I am delighted that Mrs. Hensala was selected for this honor," said Rampolla. "It has been a true pleasure to work with her. Her dedication, attention to detail and sincere approach to making a difference within our community has been exceptional."
