Yellow Ribbon Program reintegration event scheduled for recently returned troops Published Feb. 28, 2012 Wyo. Millitary Department CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Community members are invited to join Soldiers, Airmen, and families of the Wyoming National Guard's C Company, 5th Battalion, 159th Aviation Support Battalion, also known as Charlie Med, and the 153rd Airlift Wing for a joint reintegration event, on March 3, from 11:30 - 1 p.m., at the Cheyenne Little America, Grand Ballroom A, 2800 W. Lincolnway, in Cheyenne. A sustainment program for the families of Detachment 3, B Company, 777th Aviation, currently deployed, will take place at the same time. Reintegration events allow service members, their families and community members to join together and create a cohesive community approach to a successful post-deployment process. This was the third of three annual rotations for the Charlie Med in Afghanistan. Among the unit's recent mobilizations are Operation Noble Eagle, the country's homeland security effort; Operation Iraqi Freedom; Operation Enduring Freedom and the United Nation's mission, in Bosnia. The unit has also been activated for firefightingmissions, search and rescue missions and other emergencies in Wyoming and around the world. The Soldiers, Airmen and their families are from; the Wyoming communities of Cheyenne, Laramie, Casper, Green River, Glenrock, Sheridan and Rock Springs; the Colorado communities of Windsor, Longmont, Loveland, Ft. Collins, Wellington and Clifton; the Nebraska communities of North Platte, Ogallala and McCook; and Manhattan, Kansas.
