Wyo. Air National Guard Family Readiness volunteers receive awards

Several Wyoming Air National Guard Family Readiness Program volunteers were honored at a luncheon Sunday, at the Wyoming Air National Guard Dining Facility.

Meagan Anderson, key spouse for the 187th Airlift Squadron, was named the 2010 Wyoming Air National Guard Volunteer of the Year. She is the wife of Capt. Kurt Anderson.

Paula Simpson, wife of Lt. Col. Rodney Simpson, and Melinda Cummings, wife of Maj. Richard Cummings, were selected for the Exceptional Volunteer Awards.

The 153rd Airlift Wing Minuteman Award was presented to Marj Highland, 153rd Airlift Wing crash fire rescue; Anita Benton, 153rd Airlift Wing Maintenance Squadron, and Celeste Simmons; 187th Airlift Squadron, all of whom are key spouse or lead volunteers who have proven to be a dedicated member of the volunteer team.
