For the first time in the history of the Wyoming Air National Guard's Cheyenne Frontier Days Air Power open house, a B-2 flyby is part of the line up.

On July 22, the B-2 Spirit flyby will anchor an exciting line up of aerial events at the Wyoming Air National Guard base, 217 Dell Range Blvd. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. Aerial events will begin with the U.S. Air Force Academy's Wings of Blue parachute jump at noon.

More than 10,000 people annually attend the Wyoming National Guard's event. Event organizers anticipate a similar crowd for the upcoming show, which ends at 3:30 p.m.

This year's attendees also will be treated to a U.S. Navy Legacy flight, featuring F-18s and a T-2; a U.S. Air Force Heritage flight, featuring F-16s and a P-51; and a static display of a NASA F-18.

Aerial events include acrobatics from Gary Rower's vintage Stearman, and demonstrations from a MiG-17, Sea Fury, and others. The B-2 flyby will close out the show.

Only shuttle bus traffic will be allowed onto the base due to security and parking restrictions. The Wyoming Air National Guard has revamped the shuttle bus route and doubled the shuttle fleet to ensure speedy and regular access to the show. Pedestrian traffic will still be allowed through the main gate.

Shuttle buses will leave continuously from the Frontier Mall's north side, between Dillard's and Sears. The Frontier Mall is located at 1400 Dell Range Blvd.

Static aircraft currently scheduled for display throughout the day include A-10s, C-130, C-45, C-5, DC-3, F-16, F-18, F-86, Jet Provost, MiG-17, P-51, P-17 Stearman, T-33, UH-1, UH-60, T-6, T-33, Sea Fury, NASA F-18, Japanese Zero, and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds.
