Trudy Woodcock Public Affairs CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Wing members will be recognized Jan. 10 during the annual Wyoming Air National Guard Outstanding Airmen of the Year banquet. Each year for the last three years, the Wing recognizes the Airman, Company Grade Officer, NCO, Senior NCO and First Sergeant of the Year, during the first UTA weekend of the calendar year. They also recognize outstanding performers on the Heritage Flag Team, Recruiting Force and other areas of the Wing. Command Chief Master Sgt. Richard A. Smith, the ninth command chief master sergeant of the Air National Guard, is the guest speaker. The Airmen who are named "of the year" awardees will be forwarded to compete at the national level.
