CHEYENNE, Wyo. -- Capt. Sean C. DeVeau, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, assumed command of the Wyoming Air National Guard's 153rd Security Forces Squadron from Lt. Col. Kristina Tweedy, Feb. 2, 2014.

"I am honored to have been selected as the 153rd Security Forces commander. Following in the footsteps of Lieutenant Colonel Tweedy will be a difficult and exciting challenge. I believe the Airmen of the 153rd Security Forces Squadron makes this one of the best commands in the state," said DeVeau.

DeVeau previously served as chief nurse for the Wyoming Army National Guard's Medical Detachment and is employed as a registered nurse at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Cheyenne. He is currently completing his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Wyoming, College of Law.

DeVeau has been a member of the Wyoming National Guard since 2003.
