All aboard!
JOINT BASE BALAD, Iraq -- Personnel walk onto an awaiting Wyoming Air National Guard C-130 Hercules here, June 18. The flexible design of the Hercules enables it to be rapidly configured for many different missions, including cargo and personnel movement. Military air travel in and out of Iraq is the safest mode of transportation and helps to decrease the amount of convoys on the road. (U.S. Air Force photo/ Senior Airman Julianne Showalter)
