Women's History Month - Brig. Gen. Tammy Maas

Day one of our month-long celebration of Women’s History Month features Brig. Gen. Tammy Maas, Wyoming Army National Guard commander, thanking members of Medical Detachment during a recent change of command ceremony. She was named assistant adjutant general in May of last year. She began her military career in 1979 and after completing 10 years of service and reaching the rank of staff sergeant, she attended the state Officer Candidate School program in 1989 and was commissioned as a second lieutenant. We will feature Wyoming Military Department women everyday this month on our social media platforms. (Wyoming Army National Guard photo by Sgt. 1st Class Jimmy McGuire)
