Maria Stoughton promoted to captain

Maria G. Stoughton, of Cheyenne, was promoted to captain in the Wyoming Air National Guard Sept. 29.

Stoughton is a flight nurse with the 187th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron and has been a member of the Wyoming Air National Guard for four years.

She has served in the military for more than 13 years and currently works full time in Wyoming Military Department Joint Force Headquarters.

Stoughton previously worked in Laramie, Wyoming, as an emergency department registered nurse for more than three years and has also held part-time positions in both the Wyoming and the New Hampshire Army National Guard.
