Kassahn promoted to master sergeant

James Kassahn, of Burns, Wyoming, was promoted to master sergeant in the Wyoming Air National Guard Sept. 10.

Kassahn is a command post technician with the 153rd Airlift Wing and has been a member of the Wyoming Air National Guard for 25 years.

Kassahn previously served as a UH-1 helicopter mechanic with the Wyoming Army National Guard and deployed with the 1022nd Medical Company, 3rd Armor Division during Desert Shield/Storm.
